Although these lyrics and song have been around since 2007 it wasn’t until I started this website that I heard of Leona Lewis’s ‘Footprints in the Sand’ song.
I think what really surprised me is the fact that Simon Cowell is the one who suggested the idea to base the song on the Christian poem Footprints in the Sand. When Leona Lewis was approached by Cowell she agreed that the song could be “really quite interesting” and knew that it would be an inspirational song with deep emotion.
My only world after listening to this song…WOW! Where have I been and how in the world did I miss this beautiful song?
